THE JOB
As an IT Field Support Specialist at VEG, you will play an essential role in delivering top-notch IT assistance to our frontline teams. Your responsibilities include ensuring seamless operations of our hospitals by maintaining reliable hardware, software, and network systems, as well as establishing new hospitals for optimal performance. This position demands a combination of technical proficiency and exceptional customer service, as you will troubleshoot issues, implement effective solutions, and collaborate closely with hospital and IT leadership to champion IT excellence across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with IT functional teams, senior management, and divisional leaders to address the needs of our hospitals.
- Facilitate teamwork and communication with local and regional leaders to ensure hospital requirements are met.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support departmental and business initiatives, ensuring effective prioritization and execution.
- Represent the IT department professionally in interactions with VEGgies and customers.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring additional staff to maintain the highest standards of customer service.
- Focus on continuous improvements in IT processes for enhanced customer experiences.
