Join our DSI team in the newly established Transformation & Strategic Projects department, where you will lead complex, strategic IT projects that often span international borders and operate within multicultural environments. You will be accountable for the operational success of these projects, ensuring stakeholder coordination and alignment with the group's strategic objectives. Additionally, you will engage in activities within the PM Office of the Transformation & Strategic Projects department.
As an IT Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Project Management:
- Structuring, organizing, and leading strategic IT projects from initiation through delivery.
- Coordinating with all stakeholders (sponsors, business teams, IT teams, global/local entities).
- Monitoring progress, managing risks, budgets, timelines, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Preparing and facilitating project steering committees, providing reports to management and sponsors.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Ensuring that projects align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Adapting project approaches based on local contexts and the group's global priorities.
- Team Management:
- Leading and motivating project teams (internal and external), while considering cultural and organizational nuances.
- Encouraging collaboration, communication, and conflict resolution within teams.
- Methodology and Tools:
- Applying suitable project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) based on project nature.
- Assisting teams in adopting best practices in project management.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of methodologies: proposing and creating tools and methodologies to enhance project execution and efficiency.
- Providing methodological support to project managers, including ongoing training in project management tools and best practices.
- Documenting and analyzing project data to identify areas for improvement in processes and practices.
- Project Portfolio and Resource Management:
- Participating in the selection and prioritization of projects: analyzing organizational needs, defining project selection criteria, and advising management on project prioritization based on strategic objectives.
- Identifying needs and tracking resource utilization for each project.
