About the Team
As part of the Corporate Technology (CorpTech) Services team, you will be a vital support partner to all Stripes—both in-office and remote. We focus on the smooth onboarding of new hires, account off-boarding, and the management of crucial business systems across a global team.
We seek a dedicated Tier 1 Support Engineer to join our APAC CorpTech Services team. In this role, you will provide attentive, personalized support to all Stripes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is self-sufficient in delivering results while fostering teamwork.
Your Responsibilities
You will deliver technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. This includes responding to inquiries, running diagnostic programs, isolating issues, and implementing effective solutions. In-person support is essential, as is managing desk setups and auditing peripherals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to inquiries via in-person interactions, email, Slack, and our ticketing system.
- Provide on-site IT HelpDesk support to Stripe employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Guide customers through problem-solving processes and ensure follow-up for issue resolution.
- Run diagnostic programs to troubleshoot issues and resolve IT scripts, systems, or automation.
- Support and maintain essential SaaS tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, and Dropbox.
- Troubleshoot and support Stripe-provided hardware, including macOS, Chrome OS, iOS, and peripherals.
- Assist in provisioning laptops for new hires and managing fleet upgrades.
- Contribute to new hire onboarding and training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and detailed internal and external IT documentation.
- Onboard and assist external vendors and contractors.
