Position Overview:
As a Java Developer at JSC Bank of Georgia, you will be immersed in an agile environment, collaborating closely with our development team and various business units. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications, as well as debugging and resolving issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teammates to plan, develop, and deliver high-quality software increments for products.
- Analyze and decompose features into manageable tasks, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Design systems that align with existing architecture while adapting to evolving demands and requirements.
- Create design components to support multiple projects efficiently.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and integration points.
- Maintain and enhance existing software, ensuring quality and technological relevance.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold the integrity of the codebase.
- Present technical concepts and solutions to peers effectively.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing complex applications using modern programming languages.
- Proficiency in designing and developing applications utilizing the Spring Framework and Java EE platforms.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MsSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases, along with ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience in developing web applications with frameworks such as GWT and Spring MVC.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly SVN and Git.
