THE JOB
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be at the forefront of emergency veterinary care, where your quick thinking and skills can make a difference. You will be responsible for managing a variety of cases, collaborating closely with our veterinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Your role will encompass triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing emotional support to pet parents during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for an individual eager to apply their training, expand their expertise, and support pet owners in need.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide attentive care to every patient and their owners, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their experience.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional assistance during critical moments, from triage through discharge.
- Administer medications, monitoring, and advanced procedures, such as IVs and blood transfusions, with proficiency.
- Engage as a collaborative team member and proactive leader, helping to develop treatment plans and maintain quality care.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with access to extensive training and resources.
