Business Analyst – Application Migration Team
Role Overview:
The Business Analyst is an essential member of the Application Migration Team, serving as a liaison between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves analyzing the organization's existing state, gathering customer requirements, defining future states, and ensuring that the migration process aligns with overarching business goals. Utilizing the SAFe Agile framework, the Business Analyst aids in the team’s decision-making process and ensures that migrated applications fulfill both technical and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis and Assessment:
- Conduct thorough analyses of the organization's structure, processes, and systems. Evaluate the current business model and its synergy with technology.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement related to application migration.
Process Design and Documentation:
- Design and document business processes that conform to the new hosting environment. Develop process maps and workflows to depict both current and future states.
Requirements Gathering and Translation:
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Convert business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the migration team.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish the desired future state of applications post-migration. Generate detailed specifications for project implementation.
