Core Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of sales data, trends, inventory levels, and profit margins for each brand and category.
Track sales performance for both high and low-demand items, taking appropriate actions and presenting insights during weekly meetings with the Buyer or Buying Manager.
Manage stock levels through reductions, transfers, and overall inventory management.
Oversee outstanding stock and purchase orders, maintaining communication with suppliers regarding delivery schedules.
Create merchandising guidelines and effectively allocate stock to retail locations.
Ensure suppliers complete order reconciliations for all placed orders.
Update budgets and assist in developing spending plans for each category.
Prepare for and participate in meetings with suppliers and internal teams.
Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Ø A strong enthusiasm for retail, sports, and fashion.
Ø 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
Ø A qualification in Fashion, Design, or Business is beneficial.
Ø Proficient in computer skills, especially with in-house systems, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ø Ability to articulate logical opinions effectively.
Ø Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ø Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with suppliers, design teams, and colleagues.
Ø Demonstrated capability to take initiative and manage projects to completion.
Ø Proactive, creative, and analytical with a strong numerical aptitude, committed to driving business success.
Ø Team-oriented yet self-motivated with high personal standards.
Ø Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
