At Credicorp Capital, we are seeking a Junior Compliance and Ethics Analyst who is passionate about risk management, rigorous analysis, and regulatory compliance to join our Compliance department.
This position is perfect for professionals looking to grow in a technical and regulatory environment, gaining in-depth knowledge of SARLAFT, alert management, and international standards (FATF).
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management and Analysis
Manage alert signals through various phases, ensuring proper analysis, documentation, and traceability.
Prepare and support Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
Administer and control case closure timelines in the SAPYC application.
Monitor currencies, sensitive suppliers, clients, and high-risk activities.
Prepare responses to SARLAFT requirements.
Calculate and generate money laundering and terrorist financing (LA/FT) risk indicators.
Assist in executing the Annual Compliance Work Plan.
Regulation and Compliance
Implement and monitor regulations associated with SARLAFT, sanctions, and FATF recommendations.
Compile and consolidate information for internal and regulatory reports.
Productivity and Continuous Improvement
Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a demanding deadline-driven environment.
Develop tasks aimed at standardization, quality, and continuous improvement in analysis and reporting.
Academic Requirements and Experience
Professional degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, or related fields.
At least 1 year of experience (including internships) in:
LA/FT risk
Regulatory compliance
Financial analysis or database analysis
In the financial sector or entities supervised by the Financial Superintendence.
Technical Knowledge and Tools
Software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required): pivot tables, functions, and structured information management.
Regulatory Framework
Knowledge related to SARLAFT.
Familiarity with international sanctions.
Knowledge or interest in deepening understanding of FATF recommendations.
