Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Staffing: This position is facilitated through Industrial Color to support a leading client in the cosmetics industry.
We are on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer with a strong background in cosmetics branding. This role will focus on both digital and print design, producing innovative assets that resonate with a vibrant and youthful beauty audience.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Design & Brand Aesthetic
- Create captivating digital and print assets for social media, email marketing, point-of-sale displays, packaging, and broader marketing initiatives.
- Transform creative briefs into trend-savvy visuals that embody the voice of a contemporary cosmetics brand.
- Ensure visual consistency across all consumer interactions.
Above & Below the Line Execution
- Develop high-impact above-the-line (ATL) marketing campaigns including editorial features, billboards, and prominent promotional materials.
- Assist in creating below-the-line (BTL) content such as in-store signage, promotional graphics, product launches, and event displays.
- Uphold the brand's voice as bold, playful, and aspirational across all platforms.
Collaboration & Creative Contribution
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Marketing, and Product teams to enhance concepts through strategic design innovation.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions, mood board creation, and collaborative workshops that foster visual creativity.
- Promote clarity in design and adherence to cosmetic branding best practices throughout campaigns.
Production & Attention to Detail
- Prepare digital and print files with exceptional attention to typography, color, hierarchy, and layout.
- Work alongside vendors to guarantee high-quality production that meets the brand's premium standards.
- Ensure designs are primed for retail, digital, and campaign execution without any quality compromise.
Organization & Workflow Management
- Maintain organized design assets for seamless access across cross-functional teams.
- Effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
