As a Junior People Advisor on a fixed-term contract for 9 months, you will play a vital role in managing all facets of HR operations. Your responsibilities will encompass the complete spectrum of People matters, including the local execution of global HR initiatives, fostering Culture, Values, and Engagement agendas, and ensuring compliance with both global policies and local laws. You will also be involved in local learning and coaching for leadership and employees. Your efforts will support the efficient delivery of services and programs aligned with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Divisional People Partners, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and People Operations to drive operational success. Partner with Talent Acquisition to build relationships with local stakeholders and facilitate recruitment efforts. Work with the People Counsel team as necessary.
- Act as the primary contact and country expert for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and employment laws to ensure compliance and promote positive employee relations.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for new employees on-site, working closely with line managers and the talent acquisition team.
- Manage payroll, employment contracts, and associated paperwork. Maintain relationships with local employment financial institutions, ensuring timely updates in accordance with contracts and divisional directives, including communication with local payroll.
- Stay informed about local employment laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation in HR policies, procedures, and practices. Collaborate with Compliance and Risk to safeguard employee data integrity and ensure appropriate training is implemented.
- Adapt and implement selected People Strategic initiatives in collaboration with Divisional People Partners and CoEs, ensuring local execution of Talent, Learning & Development initiatives.
- Work with local Functional Leaders to translate business needs into actionable people strategies, including local values activation plans and hybrid work arrangements.
- Drive engagement, CSR, and DEI initiatives within the organization.
