Job Summary
Aretum is on the lookout for a motivated and adept Junior Technical Recruiter/Sourcer. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for a range of positions, including technical, administrative, managerial, and other skill sets aligned with Aretum's current and future talent acquisition needs.
As a federal consulting organization, our employees may be required to manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must comply with relevant safeguarding and compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition team to identify hiring requirements and formulate effective sourcing strategies.
- Employ diverse sourcing techniques and platforms to discover and connect with potential candidates, including social media, job boards, networking events, and referrals.
- Evaluate resumes and qualifications to determine candidates' suitability for specific roles.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and assessments to gauge candidates' skills and qualifications.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective candidates, ensuring engagement throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain precise and updated records of candidate interactions and progress.
- Propose and implement enhancements to sourcing and recruitment methodologies.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Talent Sourcer or Recruiter, preferably within the government contracting sector.
- Proven expertise in effectively sourcing and engaging passive candidates through various methods and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other online platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with potential candidates.
- Fundamental understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Experience in the government contracting industry or familiarity with the Federal hiring process is advantageous.
