About the Role:
- The Key Accounts Manager will oversee existing customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Reporting directly to the National Key Account Manager, this role requires collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management for existing clients including:
- Ensuring customer retention
- Facilitating annual contract renewals with pricing adjustments
- Managing collections and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Implementing up-selling strategies
- Developing new business opportunities
- Collaborating with branch teams to enhance customer service delivery
- Conducting market surveys and competitor analyses to identify service gaps
- Enhancing customer profitability and margins
- Providing client feedback to the service team
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve a customer retention rate of 95% or higher
- Ensure 100% on-time contract renewals
- Implement price increases as per established targets
- Manage collection and DSO in alignment with targets
- Generate new sales from both existing and new customers to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
Essential Skills:
- Strong skills in Customer Relationship Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- A proven track record in customer management and business development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of sales experience, including 2 years in Key Account Management
- Familiarity with the geographic area relevant to this position
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
