Position Responsibilities
- Foster a vibrant work atmosphere that prioritizes sanitation and the flawless execution of service and products.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for department staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Organize and attend departmental meetings as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Operate efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with all departments.
- Possess a thorough understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Develop and manage production schedules based on outlet projections.
- Assist in the coordination of steward personnel and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a supportive and positive work environment.
- Oversee the cleanliness and safety of the workspace, mitigating any hazards.
- Regularly inspect equipment to guarantee proper maintenance is carried out.
Essential Functions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; working in temperatures around 55°F.
- Occasional lifting of heavy carts and products, requiring physical stamina.
- Capability to work in both hot and cold environments.
- Evaluate food quality at each preparation stage through tasting.
- Detail-oriented approach is required.
- Occasional lifting of food items weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Must walk varying distances while carrying up to 35 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
- Adapt to various work area conditions, including hot and humid environments.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations while working closely with others.
