About the Role
As an interpreter, your role will involve listening, understanding, and accurately reproducing content from the source language into the target language. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing interpretation services for clients accessing legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring comprehension by checking understanding with non-English speakers after each statement
- Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information with discretion
- Acting as a liaison between service users and service providers
