Key Responsibilities:
The Laboratory Team Lead will oversee sample preparation and analysis in accordance with established protocols and official methods. This position will guide the workflow within the department.
Specific Duties Include:
- Developing, reviewing, submitting, and archiving reports on client sample tests, correlation tests, calibrations, validations, proposals, and other projects. Authorized to review and endorse datasheets and client reports.
- Conducting routine operations, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Performing and validating test methods, laboratory SOPs, and departmental operational, safety, and quality documentation.
- Investigating and responding to client inquiries and complaints, ensuring effective follow-up.
- Providing limited internal and external technical support to marketing, sales, customer services, and clients on testing, reporting, and other technical matters.
- Entering technical data into LIMS and other data management systems, ensuring accuracy and currency of information.
- Coordinating sample reception, logging, pretreatment, preparation, testing, and other tasks with laboratory technicians and assistants.
- Managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Adhering to local and corporate QHSE standards.
- Completing additional projects and tasks as directed by management.
- Delegating tasks and projects within the department based on incoming workload.
- Overseeing daily departmental workflow to guarantee timely client report delivery.
- Placing orders for laboratory supplies through Sharepoint using either PO or purchasing card.
