As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a dynamic Lead Data Analyst to spearhead the analytics department within our Treasury team, focusing specifically on the Ledger and Safeguarding divisions. This exciting opportunity is based in Shoreditch, London.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of 2+ analysts tasked with:
Curating comprehensive datasets, identifying key metrics, evaluating opportunities, and conducting in-depth analyses.
Developing and sustaining essential data pipelines and dashboards to facilitate decision-making.
Executing data reconciliation processes, investigating discrepancies, and implementing controls for automation.
Collaborate closely with the FX, Liquidity, and Operations teams to refine processes aimed at minimizing costs and risks.
Act as a liaison for stakeholders, assisting them in articulating their analytical needs and adapting team workflows accordingly.
Lead by example, actively engaging with your team and promoting best practices.
Who You Are:
A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an analyst or analytics engineer.
Proven track record of mentoring analysts and a strong desire to transition into a managerial role.
Exceptional analytical skills with a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics.
Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python or R.
Ability to write clean, efficient code and guide others in developing these skills.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to make a significant impact beyond standard role expectations.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with DBT.
Data modeling experience in a data warehouse context.
Experience working in highly regulated and audited environments.
Prior exposure to financial data and ledgers.
