The Lead HR Generalist plays a pivotal role within the HR team, facilitating the seamless operation of HR functions for Santen's France branch, encompassing both commercial and R&D sectors. This position entails full responsibility for employee administration and ensures the effective execution of essential HR processes. Key responsibilities include overseeing the legal training agenda, coordinating payroll, managing the induction program, and administering the HRIS.
Additionally, this role will contribute to the execution of targeted EMEA HR initiatives at the national level.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee administration inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Oversee comprehensive administrative tasks for staff, including orientation for new hires, contract management, employee exits, status updates, leave management, and benefits administration. Ensure HR records are meticulously maintained.
- Maintain up-to-date HRIS data, including new hire information, compensation adjustments, organizational changes, and time management.
- Ensure accuracy in the monthly payroll process through close collaboration with the payroll outsourcing vendor and contribute to budget planning as necessary.
- Manage the complete legal training process, including training strategy, budget oversight, and related administrative tasks.
- Own the HR dashboard and reporting functions, providing valuable insights to management as needed.
- Support the execution of the performance management process alongside employees and managers.
- Assist in the continuous improvement and implementation of local HR policies and tools; provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with business partners to ensure effective communication.
- Oversee recruitment for all non-management roles, managing the entire hiring process, including candidate shortlisting, selection methods, job offers, and onboarding.
- Facilitate the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews, and providing feedback to management as appropriate.
- Potentially participate in the rollout of international projects.
