Lead Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Starting Pay Rate: $23.50

Position Summary
The Lead Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in assisting the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the safety, functionality, and maintenance of the facility and company assets. This position demands a robust knowledge of mechanical systems, greenhouse operations, and building maintenance. The Lead Maintenance Technician aims to minimize operational downtime by executing and coordinating maintenance activities, supporting farm operations, and upholding compliance with state marijuana regulations. This role serves as a pivotal leadership position, guiding maintenance team members, overseeing repairs, monitoring equipment functionality, and ensuring all tasks align with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facility buildings to identify and promptly resolve any issues.
- Schedule and delegate maintenance and repair tasks to maintenance staff.
- Ensure that maintenance teams are equipped with the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinate with external vendors for inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Implement and maintain Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reviewing them annually.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in evaluating cost estimates and presenting options.
- Provide weekly progress reports and employee tracking updates.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment, filters, and general supplies; reorder as necessary.
- Support other departments with facility-related maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
