Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Supply & Demand Planning Lead to take charge of the comprehensive demand and supply planning for our Australian facility while coordinating with other plants internationally. You will spearhead the S&OP process, transforming commercial demand into actionable production and material plans, and driving visibility, service, and cost efficiency across Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement. This pivotal role is essential in enhancing efficiency, service delivery, and cost performance across our operational network, directly impacting our customer satisfaction as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete demand and supply planning cycle across various business units and plants.
- Manage the S&OP process, ensuring a balance between commercial demand, production capacity, and cost.
- Oversee import tracking in collaboration with plants outside Australia to ensure seamless delivery.
- Convert forecasts into definitive production schedules and material plans while managing freeze/flex rules.
- Develop and enhance inventory strategies to optimize health across the network.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to address constraints and model cost-to-serve scenarios.
- Oversee planning systems (ERP/MRP/APS) and advocate for data quality and digital innovation projects.
- Lead special projects, network optimizations, and site consolidation initiatives.
- Coordinate special orders for major projects (e.g., hotels, commercial buildings) to ensure timely delivery.
- Create and maintain clear dashboards and reports for executives and key stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as required.
