Role Overview
Our Manufacturing teams are integral to KP Snacks. They safely produce the beloved high-quality snacks that our consumers enjoy, all while operating in a fast-paced and high-performing environment. Our focus is on safety, quality, cost, and service, enabling us to meet our commitments and continuously improve our operations.
As a Lead Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing shift performance within a specified area or asset group. You will coordinate daily activities, step into the roles of Equipment Owner or Team Captain as needed, and assist your team in maintaining consistent safety, quality, service, and cost standards.
This role is crucial for ensuring compliance, enhancing performance, and supporting colleagues in delivering their best work daily.

Your Responsibilities
Operational Coordination: Manage daily activities in your designated area, ensuring that standards, routines, and compliance are upheld throughout the shift, acting as Equipment Owner or Team Captain when necessary.
Performance Monitoring: Track output, waste, downtime, quality, and service, taking prompt corrective action when performance metrics fall below targets.
Effective Communication: Lead shift handovers, clearly communicate risks and priorities, and serve as the escalation point for technical or personnel-related issues.
Continuous Improvement: Champion structured root cause investigations and drive problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
