Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Oversee assigned projects ensuring timely delivery and providing status updates to internal teams and stakeholders.Maintain an understanding of the contract and scope of work for projects, communicating necessary updates to the project team.Forecast project hours and resource needs, managing project budgets and identifying out-of-scope work.Guide the design of clinical databases for clients and internal teams.Build and maintain clinical databases.Develop, test, and validate programs and databases to support client projects and third-party applications.Provide advanced technical support and system administration for internal applications and clinical databases.Troubleshoot and resolve database and software issues.Develop and maintain validation documents specific to each study.Support data management throughout the project lifecycle.Engage in software vendor selection and participate in EDC demonstrations and training sessions.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data management.

Join our expanding team at Precision Medicine Group as a Principal Database Programmer. We are seeking an innovative individual to lay the groundwork for our clinical data operations throughout Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of clinical databases from initiation to post-lock phases, collaborating closely with Data Management, Project Management, EDC vendors, and clients.
Your responsibilities will include guiding database architecture, overseeing programming tasks, resolving complex technical challenges, supporting system administration, forecasting project requirements, and contributing to the development of SOPs and processes. Moreover, this role offers a unique opportunity to mentor junior programmers, train end users, facilitate onboarding, and influence the growth trajectory of our new regional team.
