About the job
Your Ambition
You're aware of the external landscape: safety, collaboration, and meticulous planning are second nature to you. Yet, perhaps you’re ready for more: increased ownership, more complex projects, and greater opportunities for growth. At Dura Vermeer Railinfra, you’ll engage in challenging rail projects while also focusing on your personal development. In a family-owned business, you are not just a number; you are a valued colleague. Sounds appealing? Then this is your stop.
Your Role
As the Lead Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of multidisciplinary rail projects, such as the redevelopment of the rail yard in Eindhoven, track renewal in Geldermalsen, or the modernization and expansion of the Nijmegen station district. You will be involved from the tender phase, contributing to work methodologies, phasing, equipment selection, and safety considerations.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the execution team with a focus on quality, safety, and progress.
Monitor the budget and schedule, intervening proactively when necessary.
Facilitate clear collaboration with project leadership, coordination, and subcontractors.
Coach your team, encourage development, and foster a safe work environment.
Identify both risks and opportunities during project execution.
At Dura Vermeer Railinfra, you will work on rail projects where civil engineering, infrastructure, rail, and electrical engineering converge. This is not routine work; it is genuinely multidisciplinary where your experience is valued and expanded.
Your Place Here
Your base will be our new sustainable office in Utrecht, but you will primarily be found at our project sites along the railways throughout the Netherlands. We are engaged in beautiful, complex, and innovative rail infrastructure projects and celebrate our successes together. It gets even better, as our projects significantly impact society. By working at Dura Vermeer Railinfra, you contribute to ensuring that trains continue to run safely and on time. While this may seem obvious to many, it certainly is not. Our skilled professionals work tirelessly every day to make this possible. You will quickly become part of the family, and you will feel that. We take good care of you, the door is always open, and we are always ready to support each other. Within the project teams, the atmosphere is excellent. Dura Vermeer Railinfra has a growth ambition, and you will help build that! You will have ample space and freedom to develop both yourself and the team to achieve the best results.
