With a diverse global engineering team of approximately 1,500 professionals, we operate in 'super teams' dedicated to specific platform areas and innovative products. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will guide a team of five to seven engineers focused on the Transactional Communications segment, a specialized unit within the broader Comms team.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of our innovative transactional messaging platform, currently being deployed to a multitude of clients and thousands of users worldwide, enabling them to customize and manage their customer communications seamlessly.
In your role as Lead Engineer, you will oversee and mentor a remote team of engineers across the UK and Europe, applying Kraken's proven expertise in customer experience, operational excellence, and rapid innovation from energy retail to new sectors.
