The Lead Test Engineer will spearhead the testing initiatives within our dynamic Product Development teams situated in the Ballpark & Ticketing Experience division. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively within an Agile framework alongside top-tier Application Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure the delivery of outstanding products efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Championing quality throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Creating and disseminating clear test strategies, outcomes, and coverage reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluating product functionality from a user experience standpoint across diverse platforms, including iOS, Android, and web, to guarantee an exceptional fan journey.
- Conducting service layer testing using tools such as Postman, Paw, and REST-assured.
- Leveraging debugging proxies, application performance monitoring, and machine-generated data to diagnose issues effectively.
- Enhancing test automation frameworks and pinpointing opportunities for automation and testing tool integration.
- Co-managing the backlog for automation and testing tools.
- Acting as a subject matter expert and mentor on testing methodologies.
- Exhibiting deep product/platform knowledge to identify design and implementation risks during the planning and design phases.
