Job Title: Threat Hunt Lead
Location: Reston, VA
Clearance Level: TS (SCI Eligible)

SUMMARY
Agile Defense is on the lookout for a highly skilled Threat Hunt Lead to bolster USG enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, providing around-the-clock Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC) services. We seek candidates with varied expertise in cybersecurity systems operations, analysis, and incident response to ensure the integrity and resilience of critical operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber threats and information security, with knowledge in Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Threat Actors, Campaigns, and Observables. Responsibilities will include threat analysis, developing detection content, malware analysis, supporting incident response, and acting upon Cyber Threat Intelligence. Proficiency in multiple cyber disciplines is preferred.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead threat hunting initiatives across expansive enterprise environments, utilizing cyber threat intelligence (CTI) to formulate TTP or hypothesis hunts. Collaborate with detection engineering, incident response, and asset owners to validate and address findings. Plan, schedule, and execute hunts based on adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); navigate through host, cloud, and network telemetry to identify unknown threats. Develop and interpret detection mechanisms and analytics, coordinating remediation efforts with asset owners and incident response teams. Effectively communicate significant findings to USG leadership; maintain a prioritized hunt backlog and monitor success metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications: GCIA, GCIH or GFCA OR CEH
Education, Background, and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills: A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Tier 3 senior cyber threat hunt analyst performing threat analysis and incident response.
