ABOUT OUR FIRM
Avantia Law is at the forefront of innovation in legal services. Our dynamic team of skilled attorneys, supported by advanced AI technology, collaborates with clients to efficiently manage routine legal and compliance tasks, delivering services quickly and cost-effectively.
Since our establishment in 2019, we have experienced remarkable growth and success.
We cater to distinguished investment funds and asset management firms, who anticipate premium service, and we consistently meet their expectations. Our proven track record has led to numerous new client acquisitions through referrals.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a qualified and experienced lawyer to join Avantia on a consultancy basis, focusing on the negotiation of investment-related Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Engagement Letters, joinder agreements, and non-reliance letters. You will oversee the entire contract lifecycle—from initial review and negotiation, utilizing client-specific playbooks, through to the execution of documents.
In collaboration with our global team of lawyers and paralegals, you will engage in high-volume negotiations of pre-M&A contracts, primarily focusing on Engagement Letters and investment-related NDAs. You'll work directly with counterparties, ensuring rapid turnaround times while maintaining high standards of quality.
This is a fully remote role, offering you the flexibility to practice law according to your schedule. However, due to client deadlines, we require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, distributed from Monday to Friday. Please note that, as a freelance position, we cannot guarantee a consistent workload.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Dedicated to providing exceptional service with a strong work ethic.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering clear and straightforward advice to clients.
- Solid understanding of relevant legal concepts, coupled with a commercial and pragmatic perspective.
