About the Role:
We are currently searching for a talented Legal Operations Associate to provide support and collaborate closely with our Legal Team. Reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, this position requires a detail-oriented self-starter who can efficiently enhance our legal operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing workflows, managing the contract lifecycle, overseeing document and knowledge repositories, maintaining trackers and other internal tools, and providing daily support for legal tasks and projects.
A paralegal certification or relevant experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Where You Will Work:
While Garner is headquartered in NYC, we welcome candidates who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to our headquarters.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee the contract lifecycle from start to finish, including document generation, stakeholder communication, approval collection, signature processes, and tracking metrics.
- Support operational systems and processes by updating templates, optimizing workflows, and assisting with reporting and documentation.
- Maintain, organize, and enhance our knowledge repository, legal trackers, workflow documentation, and other internal resources.
- Assist with team projects and research, providing paralegal and administrative support for Legal Team members.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (paralegal certification is a plus).
- 1-3+ years of experience in a legal or operational support role.
