The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Legal Operations Manager to join our expanding Legal team, tasked with optimizing and scaling our robust legal framework. This pivotal role emphasizes data management, system optimization, and capacity planning to ensure the Legal team remains a strategic partner within the organization.
As the Legal Operations Manager, you will play an integral role in refining our legal operations, collaborating closely with Legal leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, transparency, and predictability across legal workflows. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on translating data into actionable operational strategies and is committed to enhancing the delivery of legal services.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing legal operations processes that bolster a mature, high-growth legal environment.
- Overseeing and enhancing key legal technology systems, including Ironclad (for Contract Lifecycle Management) and Brightflag (for legal spend and matter management).
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports on contract cycle times, legal demand, workloads, and service-level agreement performance.
- Identifying and analyzing trends in legal demand and performance to guide staffing, budgeting, and process enhancements.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives across legal workflows, intake processes, and knowledge management.
