JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Social Work Clinician to join our multidisciplinary health care team at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. In this role, you will provide essential psychosocial interventions for patients and their families across various departments, addressing a wide range of biopsychosocial issues.
Your responsibilities will include assessing social needs related to patient health status, developing collaborative treatment plans, and providing advocacy, counseling, referrals, and practical assistance to ensure optimal outcomes. Additionally, you will offer consultation, orientation, and training to healthcare staff, promoting an understanding of how cultural and economic factors influence patient health management. As an advocate for social work core values, you will uphold ethical standards within our institution and the broader community.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker:
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will hold a fully qualified, professional level of social work practice, characterized by significant responsibility and the autonomy to deliver comprehensive social work services.
Social Work Clinician:
This position serves as an entry-level role for recent graduates or those with relevant social work experience who are not yet licensed as LCSWs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Staff members are expected to comply with all Joint Commission Requirements, focusing on cultural sensitivity, patient rights, and ethical treatment. Adherence to safety protocols, participation in ongoing education, and maintaining compliance with National Patient Safety Goals are crucial.
All duties must be performed in accordance with the hospital's policies, including its Service Standards and Code of Conduct.
