Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Hillsborough, NJ
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team at Gotham Enterprises as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. In this crucial role, you will provide hands-on care to patients in a supportive clinical environment. Your primary responsibility will be executing treatment plans designed by a supervising Physical Therapist, aimed at enhancing patients' strength, mobility, coordination, and overall physical capabilities. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in our patients' rehabilitation journeys, ensuring that their care is consistent, effective, and focused on achieving their health goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through their prescribed exercise routines and functional activities
- Observe and monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, providing updates to the Physical Therapist
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions
- Support and reinforce home exercise guidelines and therapy recommendations
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current New Jersey PTA license or eligibility to obtain one
- CPR certification is mandatory
- Experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings is preferred
- Excellent communication and clinical support skills
- Able to work efficiently in a full-time patient care environment
