As a Life Enrichment Worker, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design, facilitate, and support group programs, individualized activities, and special events that enhance the lives of our Residents.
- Evaluate Residents' recreation, leisure, therapeutic, and restorative care needs, crafting tailored care plans to support their overall well-being.
- Assist Residents with transportation to and from programs, ensuring full participation in enriching activities.
- Accurately document care plans and MDS coding, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Continue therapy programs under the guidance of therapists to enhance Residents’ mobility, independence, and quality of life.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere through seasonal decorations and by managing program supplies and equipment.
- Provide mentorship and support to volunteers and students involved in life enrichment initiatives.
- Engage in team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement efforts, contributing valuable insights to enhance Resident care.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that Residents have daily opportunities for meaningful engagement.
- Support your team as needed, contributing to a collaborative and caring environment.
