Axiom, a prominent player in the realm of alternative legal services, is on the lookout for seasoned Life Sciences, Clinical Trial, and R&D Contracting Lawyers to collaborate with leading organizations within the Life Sciences sector across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of global clinical trial agreements and associated documents with sophisticated counterparties such as hospitals, academic medical centers, universities, government agencies, and extensive healthcare systems.
- Act as the primary legal support for CRO-related arrangements, including master services agreements, work orders, change orders, and pertinent vendor contracts, ensuring a transparent distribution of responsibilities, data rights, intellectual property, and risk.
- Assist in R&D and pre-clinical activities, encompassing sponsored research agreements with academic and research institutions, material transfer agreements (both inbound and outbound), and non-clinical/GLP study agreements alongside related R&D collaborations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of clinical and R&D agreements, including clinical trial agreements (both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated), informed consent forms, collaboration agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements (CDAs/NDAs), and data use agreements, as well as supply, manufacturing, and ancillary services agreements that support clinical development.
- Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal counsel to clinical operations, R&D, medical, regulatory, data/biostatistics, and procurement teams in a dynamic environment.
