Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Lifecycle Marketing & Systems Manager to spearhead and enhance our client's intricate email and CRM ecosystem. This role transcends traditional email marketing; you will operate at the nexus of marketing, product development, data analytics, user experience, and engineering. As the steward of a multi-faceted tech stack, you will facilitate complex lifecycle journeys across diverse global markets.
In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of and advance the entire lifecycle marketing system, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and delivers a seamless customer experience—all while contributing to the company's growth and retention objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, audit, and enhance our comprehensive lifecycle marketing system, encompassing transactional, triggered, and behavioral campaigns.
- Conduct a thorough 2-week audit, producing documented flow maps, identifying pain points, and creating a roadmap for improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Growth, Product, Analytics, Engineering, and external vendors to ensure CRM strategies align with overarching business goals.
- Streamline and manage a complex marketing technology ecosystem, including ESPs, CDPs, customer support tools, and analytics platforms.
- Perform in-depth system audits to uncover legacy logic, overlapping triggers, conflicting flows, and missed opportunities, enhancing system clarity and minimizing redundancies.
- Standardize and document business logic, flow ownership, and performance benchmarks across departments and platforms.
- Assess and optimize vendor partnerships and platform usage for superior deliverability, scalability, and customer experience.
- Design and implement testing roadmaps for flows and segmentation strategies in partnership with data and growth teams.
- Translate UX/business logic into clear flow maps, collaborating with designers and developers to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Work with international teams to adapt lifecycle strategies for localization, compliance, and regional business priorities.
- Ensure lifecycle strategies are fully aligned across departments and platforms, implementing accountability structures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years in Lifecycle/CRM Marketing, with at least 3 years managing complex, enterprise-level systems across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise with Klaviyo.
- Significant experience collaborating across various departments and platforms (e.g., ESPs, CDPs, Shopify, Recharge, Zendesk, GA, Segment, etc.).
- Strong technical acumen; proficient in customer data, event tracking, integrations, and the interconnectivity of various tools.
- Background in UX/UI, Business Analysis, or Systems Engineering is advantageous.
