Position Overview
Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! seeks a highly organized and customer-focused Live Show Operations Manager to oversee logistical and operational processes for our live events. This role includes managing weekly tapings in Chicago (30+ annually), road shows (10-12 per year), and additional performances. The ideal candidate must be familiar with the NPR Member station network and, most importantly, a devoted fan of the show.
The Live Show Operations Manager will be responsible for talent and contract management, vendor coordination, merchandise oversight, sponsorship collaboration, and strategic partnerships, while also exploring opportunities for new initiatives beyond the radio show.
