Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive a large box truck safely.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all donors and customers.
- Efficiently load and secure donations in accordance with company operational standards.
- Help establish, maintain, and manage donation box locations and routes.
- Contribute to the future planning of routes, donation box, and trailer site placements.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderly maintenance of donation sites and routes by adhering to company protocols.
- Safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and wet weather.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 25 years.
- At least 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Must pass a DOT physical to meet Department of Transportation medical standards.
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must align with company insurability standards.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and hair follicle drug testing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
