As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and overseeing the dispatch department, ensuring the efficient management of goods in and out, as well as the timely delivery of customer orders.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Processing customer orders efficiently
- Operating mechanical and IT systems effectively
- Maintaining open communication with customers
- Keeping statistical and financial records accurate and up to date
- Meeting quality objectives and delivery schedules
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinating and monitoring the receipt, assembly, and dispatch of goods
In addition, you will lead a small team of three, providing training and supervision to ensure that all staff are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to achieve their goals.
Your communication skills will be essential as you will be liaising with customers via email and telephone.
Maintaining accurate stock control systems is critical, requiring strong attention to detail.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Planning for future capacity needs
- Organizing and monitoring staff training and performance
- Generating regular reports and statistics on operations
- Providing daily briefings to team leaders
- Overseeing scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Managing stock control and order processing
- Achieving objectives set by management
- Fostering teamwork and motivation within the department
- Administering Quality Management Systems for ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in warehouse management
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent customer service abilities

- First aid training
- Fire safety training or experience as a fire champion
- Experience in a warehouse setting for electronic devices
- Knowledge of waste management practices
