Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels and discrepancies to proactively identify shrinkage risks.
- Loss Mitigation: Establish and enforce control measures aimed at reducing losses from theft, misplacement, or inaccuracies.
- Strategy Development: Create and implement robust loss prevention strategies to combat theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access.
- Security Monitoring: Oversee security systems including surveillance cameras and access controls to deter and detect suspicious activities.
- Risk Evaluation: Assess potential operational risks that could cause losses.
- Training Initiatives: Educate distribution center staff on loss prevention best practices, fostering a culture of vigilance and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and recommend enhancements to loss prevention and safety protocols to adapt to evolving threats.
- Incident Management: Lead thorough investigations into loss incidents, gathering evidence and conducting interviews as necessary.
- Reporting: Escalate findings to the Risk Manager for appropriate action and guidance.
