Join Our Retail Loyalty Department as a Loyalty Sector Team Lead. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic and operational management of loyalty campaigns within your designated area. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting industry strategies, managing a dynamic campaign portfolio, enhancing customer value, establishing merchant partnerships, and closely collaborating across various functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry Strategy & Campaign Portfolio Ownership: Develop and own the loyalty strategy and campaign roadmap tailored to your domain. Analyze customer behavior, commercial trends, and the competitive landscape to unveil growth opportunities. Convert these insights into actionable quarterly and annual loyalty plans that align with the bank's objectives. Prioritize and manage a rolling campaign pipeline based on its potential impact, feasibility, merchant interest, and available funding.
- Campaign Development & Execution: Design campaign concepts, mechanics, target segments, and value propositions. Steer cross-functional approval processes involving risk, compliance, legal, finance, and analytics. Ensure operational readiness, technical setup, and merchant onboarding, while coordinating accurate customer communication in collaboration with brand and marketing teams. Monitor campaign performance during execution, ensuring proper closure and documentation.
- Merchant Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key merchant partners, positioning loyalty campaigns as a commercial growth tool for them. Lead negotiations on funding and co-investment, structuring deals effectively. Support partners throughout the campaign execution phase while ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track campaign results, ensuring transparency and accuracy of performance data. Generate actionable insights and recommend enhancements to campaign mechanics, targeting, and processes. Contribute to the development of best practices, evaluation standards, and internal playbooks.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the domain expert and primary coordinator across analytics, marketing, product, sales, legal, finance, and digital teams. Provide clear visibility on priorities, timelines, risks, and outcomes while supporting strategic initiatives and the continuous improvement of loyalty tools and processes.
