Position Summary
As an LTC Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales, fostering business development, and addressing customer needs within a designated long-term care (LTC) territory. You will cultivate relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, facility decision-makers, and other key members of the LTC care team to ensure that eligible patients are identified, initiated, and sustained on therapy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with all members of the LTC resident care team, including physicians, physician extenders (NP/PA), consultant pharmacists, dispensing pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership/staff.
- Promote Acadia products by delivering compliant clinical knowledge, disease state information, and reimbursement education tailored to meet customer needs.
- Identify and effectively address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections utilizing advanced selling techniques.
- Develop in-depth understanding of customers, practices, and local/regional market trends; leverage insights for business strategy.
- Create and implement quarterly territory business/action plans, utilizing data to maximize reach, frequency, and impact while adhering to budget constraints.
- Provide guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC-specific profitability parameters; act as a liaison between customers and Acadia for access-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales management, territory teammates, and cross-functional partners (e.g., managed markets, marketing, operations, training) to address business needs.
