Join Cornerstone Building Brands as a Maintenance Manager, where you'll take the lead in managing and facilitating the day-to-day maintenance activities of our facilities, equipment, and machinery. This includes overseeing HVAC systems, lighting, production lines, groundskeeping, and the overall aesthetics of the facility. You will act on behalf of the Plant Manager to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations, operating permits, and construction permits. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct maintenance operations to achieve the plant’s short and long-term goals effectively.
- Optimize production by prioritizing work, scheduling necessary repairs, and overseeing installation of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Innovate and implement proactive maintenance strategies that enhance performance metrics to world-class standards, including PM, predictive techniques, TPM, and historical databases.
- Establish and refine preventive maintenance programs tailored to our operational needs.
- Guide and develop maintenance staff through coaching, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of job performance.
- Equip the maintenance team with essential tools and equipment to meet plant objectives.
- Oversee maintenance operations by assigning tasks and following up on outcomes.
- Manage tool crib operations, including maintenance spare parts and supplies.
- In collaboration with the Plant Manager, create and manage the annual maintenance budget, scheduling critical maintenance and installations to align with production and cost targets.
- Work with the Corporate Engineering Director to develop a capital plan that adheres to budgetary constraints and corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers from other plants to share best practices and ensure the implementation of innovative solutions.
- Partner with the EHS Manager to ensure timely completion and compliance of all environmental, operational, and construction permits.
