Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician specializing in Automation. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining and repairing injection molding equipment, robots, and various assembly, subassembly, printing, and packaging machinery. Our operations are rooted in scientific injection molding processes and automation equipment, serving the FDA-regulated markets. You will thrive in a fast-paced, controlled manufacturing environment (CME).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a clean and safe workplace, promptly reporting any hazards.
- Utilize measuring devices, gauges, and inspection tools effectively.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment as needed.
- Engage actively in team discussions to propose improvements.
- Respond to machine alarms, identifying and addressing root causes.
- Adhere to 5S guidelines to maintain workplace organization.
- Perform inspections according to cGMP and document findings accurately.
- Comply with Lock Out/Tag Out protocols.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues across various machines.
- Adjust assembly machines for production operations per department specifications.
- Maintain and repair electrical controls for molding, assembly, and packaging machines, focusing on electronic principles.
- Restore programs to controls in case of loss or CPU replacements.
- Repair robotic arms and controls, including component replacements.
- Calibrate robot pick and place locations as necessary.
- Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities as required.
- Log maintenance work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP).
- Monitor processes, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Analyze root causes for safety, quality, and processing concerns.
- Propose enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
- Fluently operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose and verify repairs.
- Collaborate with maintenance colleagues and technical support as needed.
- Restore functioning of damaged equipment by adjusting and replacing necessary systems.
