Position Overview
Action Property Management is excited to invite applications for the full-time role of Maintenance Technician II at our prestigious Wilshire House community in Westwood.
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician II, under the supervision of the Chief Building Engineer, plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing common areas within the Association. This includes tasks such as patching and painting, wallpaper repairs, and cleaning engineering spaces. The Technician is also responsible for emergency preparedness and response, addressing incidents like floods, fires, power outages, and earthquakes swiftly and effectively. Continuous hands-on training will be provided to facilitate professional growth, with an emphasis on potential advancement to a full-time Building Engineer position.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience, ideally within hospitality or property management environments.
- Must be 18 years or older and successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Practical experience or coursework in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly advantageous.
