As a key member of the Arista Sales team, you will represent Arista to our esteemed customers, serving as their internal advocate to address their unique challenges. Your role will involve aligning Arista's technical capabilities to help achieve your clients' strategic objectives. Collaborate with a talented team of Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive leadership to ensure successful execution of client solutions. Our sales culture thrives on teamwork, and you'll find support from a network of driven sales professionals. This position typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
Your Contribution
We are looking for an accomplished Major Account Manager to enhance our growing sales organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, implementing effective sales strategies to surpass sales goals within a select group of 12-15 large enterprise accounts, focusing specifically on the insurance sector in the New York City metro area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Surpass defined sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within your targeted list of large enterprise accounts in the NYC/NJ area.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to engage key stakeholders and address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems across the Arista product portfolio, including Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, High-Performance Data Centers, Cognitive Campus Networking, Wi-Fi Campus Networking, VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions, Network Automation & Telemetry (Arista Cloud Vision), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions, and AI-driven Network Security solutions.
- Engage with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to present Arista’s compelling value proposition.
- Collaborate with Arista systems engineers to craft and position innovative solutions that minimize total cost of ownership.
- Build strategic partnerships with technology partners to identify prospects and deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Establish and cultivate key channel relationships in your territory.
- Develop strategic and tactical account plans based on regular business reviews with clients and prospects.
- Lead demand generation initiatives such as industry meet-ups, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.
- Work closely with Arista colleagues on marketing strategies and best practices.
- Stay informed on technology partner solutions, competitive offerings, and industry trends.
