The Role
We are in search of a dedicated Management Accountant who has a strong foundation and hands-on experience in transactional finance. This role is crucial as you will take ownership of our accounting processes in a rapidly expanding business environment.
You will play a key role in our finance function, ensuring accurate reconciliations and maintaining the commercial utility of our financial records as we scale across multiple entities. This position involves overseeing core accounting processes from ledger integrity and reconciliations to management reporting and compliance.
Your responsibility will include ensuring the accuracy of our financial data while enhancing systems and controls, allowing senior leadership to operate with confidence and clarity. We are committed to your professional growth and will provide support for your qualifications and examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations (bank, expenses, accruals/prepayments) and financial controls.
- Monitor expenses and departmental budgets, identifying variances and assisting in cost control.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and vendors to ensure compliance and efficient reporting cycles.
- Enhance and optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools as we grow, including implementing automation where feasible.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support commercial decision-making and operational planning.
- Manage finance-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding (payroll, systems access, etc.).
