The Role:
As a Management Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 4-phased program to gain insights into every facet of our operations – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, and operations management to employee development and beyond. Build your own sales territory while delivering exceptional customer service. You will receive mentoring and support from experienced managers and colleagues across Canada to facilitate your growth into a successful management career at EMCO.
Program Phases:
Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service – Acquire product knowledge and hands-on experience in logistics, customer service, order management, inventory control, and more.
Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement – Transition from assisting customers to managing projects while fostering relationships and providing outstanding service. Learn to interpret blueprint drawings for material quoting.
Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development by identifying new opportunities, selling products, and negotiating contracts to enhance the customer base.
Phase 4: Leadership and Operations – Step into a leadership role, providing vision, mentoring others, and managing operations while developing your leadership competencies.
Upon completion of the training phases, you will be prepared to take on managerial responsibilities at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.
