The HR Manager acts as a strategic and trusted ally to the business, playing a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, aligning with business strategies, and ensuring we attract top talent to make a significant impact on AbbVie and our patients globally. This position is dedicated to employing best-in-class HR practices to continuously develop, implement, and support programs that position AbbVie as an employer of choice, empowering employees across all levels of the organization. As a strategic HR partner to several VPs within our AbbVie Quality organization, this role is crucial in crafting and executing people strategies that align with both immediate and long-term business objectives.
Our Operations Quality organization consists of 3,500 employees worldwide, committed to fostering a shared quality culture that safeguards our patients by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and availability of our products. We aim to be recognized for our patient-centric approach and robust quality culture, driven by talented individuals who work collaboratively and innovate inclusively. Join a team of four HR leaders, each supporting multiple VPs in their global operations, focusing on leadership development, talent management, organizational design, and other essential HR processes to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategic partner for business leaders and their global organizations, assisting in the formulation and implementation of HR strategies to address organizational needs.
- Provide coaching and consultation to senior business leaders on leadership development, culture, succession planning, and talent management.
- Design and execute strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining talent that aligns with current and future business demands, including identifying and nurturing new capabilities necessary for success. Lead efforts in talent development and succession planning.
- Ensure effective delivery of all HR programs and services, overseeing the successful execution of daily and long-term HR initiatives, client satisfaction, and HR effectiveness.
- Foster strong relationships with key HR partners globally, coordinating HR elements across our manufacturing sites and HR Centers of Excellence to meet business needs.
- Consult on organizational design, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals.
