About Upstart
At Upstart, we are driven by a crucial mission: to significantly lower the cost and complexity of borrowing for all Americans. Our innovative approach combines creativity, experimentation, and cutting-edge AI to revolutionize access to credit, empowering millions to progress financially with clarity and confidence.
As a premier AI lending marketplace, we collaborate with banks and credit unions to enhance access to affordable credit through technology that is both exceptionally intelligent and deeply human. Our platform conducts over one million predictions per borrower utilizing more than 1,800 signals, facilitating smarter and fairer decisions for millions of customers. The statistics provide a glimpse into our impact, but every idea, voice, and contribution propels us toward a future where credit is never a barrier to financial advancement.
We proudly embrace a digital-first culture, allowing most Upstarters the flexibility to excel from wherever they thrive, alongside colleagues in over 80 cities across the US and Canada. Digital-first does not equate to distant; we prioritize in-person connections through team gatherings, planning sessions, and creativity-enhancing moments. Whether you choose to work primarily from home or collaborate in-person at one of our offices in Columbus, Austin, the Bay Area, or New York City (opening Summer 2026), you’ll receive the support you need to work in the manner that suits you best.
If you are invigorated by solving meaningful challenges, eager to innovate with intention, and motivated by work that genuinely matters, we would love to connect with you.
