Work Environment
Udemy operates globally with headquarters in San Francisco and additional offices across the U.S. in Denver and Austin, as well as international locations in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This position requires in-office attendance three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with flexible arrangements on Mondays and Fridays.
About This Role
As a vital member of the design leadership team at Udemy, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Product Design for Instructor Tools, Udemy Business, and Globalisation UX, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design strategy for the Udemy Business Experience. Your diverse expertise will guide the development of innovative features aimed at enhancing administration, engaging business users, and enabling Enterprise teams to seamlessly integrate Udemy Learning into their upskilling culture.
In this player-coach role, where you will be adept in management and proficient with design tools like Figma, you will actively visualize and prototype next-generation product features while mentoring your team to expand our vision across various platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead design initiatives across the Udemy Business design team to optimize user experiences for administrators, learners, instructors, and business partners.
- Collaborate with fellow designers to ensure a unified, visually compelling, and high-performing user experience across all platforms.
- Engage with research teams to identify and understand enterprise customer needs to drive growth and retention.
- Simplify complex challenges through advanced UX strategies.
