Role Overview:
In this essential position, you will oversee the financial dimensions of our UM Strategy initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to quantify and communicate the financial impacts of these initiatives, ensuring that strategic investments yield measurable and defensible affordability outcomes. You will act as the main point of contact between the UM business unit and the Medical Economics/Finance departments to accurately size and track all investments.
You will report to the Director of UM Authorization Strategy.
Workplace Setting: This is a fully remote role, open to applicants residing in Atlanta, Georgia. While you will primarily work remotely, our work model may evolve over time, potentially incorporating a hybrid presence at an office in your regional hub. #LI-Remote
Compensation Transparency: The salary range for this position is $105,808 - $138,886 annually. Additionally, you will enjoy employee benefits, the opportunity to partake in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and eligibility for annual performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced financial models to evaluate the impact of UM and affordability strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate savings initiatives.
- Advocate for the UM department's initiatives within the broader organization, prioritizing them in the corporate savings pipeline.
- Foster strong partnerships with the Medical Economics and Data Science teams to establish effective methodologies for tracking return on investment (ROI).
- Maintain the 'Source of Truth' for the department's value tracking, monitoring active initiatives' performance and delivering monthly reports comparing projected savings with actual results.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with Medical Economics, Data Science, and Clinical leadership to convert complex data into executive-ready narratives for enterprise-wide decision-making.
- Create analytical frameworks to assist leadership in navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions.
