About the job
What Challenge Will You Take On?
As a seasoned practitioner, you will redefine the concepts of management and leadership in this role. You will integrate your expertise as a lead practitioner with the responsibilities of the Manager of Treatment Affairs for the FACT teams in community psychiatry in Leiden. As a member of the management team for Rivierduinen's community psychiatry, your contribution will be pivotal in advancing and shaping outpatient and outreach care for our patients with severe psychiatric disorders. Join us in building the next step in recovery-oriented network psychiatry!
Your role as the Manager of Treatment Affairs at Rivierduinen will position you as an expert in the clinical aspects of care organization within neighborhood teams. The mental health care sector (GGZ), particularly the outpatient neighborhood teams (FACT), is undergoing significant transformation, presenting opportunities to collaboratively rethink the structure and function of these teams and their societal roles. Clients, their relatives, and professionals will work together to explore comprehensive explanations for suffering and seek the most suitable support for recovery. The unique recovery process of each client is paramount, often involving moments of uncertainty, doubt, risk-taking, and waiting for the right moment. Therefore, professional support must be responsive and adaptable. The application of scientific knowledge, experiential knowledge, and practical knowledge is equally valued at all levels of the organization, reflecting the equality of recovery offerings and specialized treatment. You will closely collaborate with the General Affairs Manager, who will also guide policy development. Together, you will be integrally responsible for the FACT teams. Beyond providing excellent and compassionate care for our clients, you will contribute to the evolution of the community psychiatry care function. The central vision of GGZ Rivierduinen focuses on connection, trust, depth, and renewal. The coming years will be dedicated to our journey to become a recovery-oriented, learning organization that is a full-fledged network partner for both patients and their relatives, as well as for other organizations operating in our extensive area of work.
This will be achieved by:
Taking a proactive role in the substantive development of our neighborhood care function and the FACT teams;
Leading the transition and transformation within the GGZ and the organizational development of Rivierduinen;
Building and maintaining integral relationships with stakeholders and partners.
